Grand Frontier is a small, highly experienced team of friends focused on the development of novel farming technologies across CEA, aquaponics and vertical farming. We are building our first production facility (Northern Michigan), laboratory (NYC), and range of research projects.

We are a practical research group that believes radically better methods of food production are possible today through novel uses of farming technology. We build functional prototypes with the goal of rapidly refining and putting results into production. The best research is useful, accessible and practical.

We have an informal and hardworking culture built around respect, constant learning, individual ownership and meticulous standards for quality.
